The Minister of Finance moved the second reading of the Valuation of Land (Amendment) Bill, 2018. In accordance with Standing Order 50(1), leave was granted for the Property Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2018 to be debated simultaneously. Mr. Ganga Singh, MP, raised a matter sub judice, however, the Speaker was not satisfied that the matter was such. Debate began on the Bill, following which the Bills were committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. Both Bills read a third time and passed.
