The Clerk will read the Proclamation by Her Excellency the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago declaring the 5th Session of the 12th Parliament open.

The Minister of Finance moved the second reading of the Miscellaneous Provisions (Global Forum) Bill, 2024. The member for Barataria/San Juan was first to enter the debate, followed by the Attorney General. Seven Members spoke before the Minister of Finance rose to wind up the debate. The Bill was then sent to a Committee of the Whole to be considered clause by clause, where the bill was approved with amendments. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.
