The Minister of Food Production made policy statements on the use of Caroni Lands and the use of service dogs for the visually impaired in Government offices.
Debate resumed (from February 24, 2015) on the Adoption of Children (Amendment) Bill, 2014. Sen. Helen Drayton was first to enter the debate, followed by Sen. David Small, Sen. Avinash Singh and the Attorney-General. The Minister of Gender, Youth and Child Development then rose to conclude. The Bill was considered at Committee stage and approved without amendment. It was then read a third time and passed.
At the next sitting, debate is expected to begin on the Trinidad and Tobago Panama Partial Scope Trade Agreement Bill, 2014 and the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago (Amendment) Bill, 2014. The sitting ended at 6:03 p.m.
