The Speaker informed of correspondence received from the Senate on their concurrence with the House in the establishment of a Joint Select Committee to consider and report on the National Statistical Institute Bill, 2018.
Eight papers were laid. See Order Paper for details.
Twelve questions were posed to the Acting Prime Minister from Members of the Opposition before the time for Prime Minister’s Questions expired.
One urgent question was posed.
Five questions qualified for oral answer. Question #47 was deferred.
The Minister in the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Hon. Fitzgerald Hinds, moved the second reading of The Trespass (Amendment) Bill, 2019. Debate began on the Bill. Following the debate, the Bill was referred to the Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The Bill was read a third time and passed, with amendments.
