Legislation to Ensure Reporting of Child Abuse

Senator Hazel Thompson-Ahye raised as a matter on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House, the need for the Government to enact legislation to provide for mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect by members of the public. The Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister (Gender and Child Affairs), Hon. Ayanna Webster-Roy, MP, responded.
