Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Colm Imbert, MP for Diego Martin North/East and Mr. Joel Sampson, MP for Tobago West, from today’s Sitting.
Papers were laid.
The Speaker made rulings on three matters raised during previous sittings of the House.

Four questions were posed to the Prime Minister by Opposition Members. See Order Paper.
The Attorney General, Sen. the Hon. John Jeremie, SC, moved the second reading of the Summary Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2025. Debate then began on the Bill. Three members contributed to the debate before the wind up by the Attorney General. The bill was then committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The bill was approved with amendments. With 38 votes for, no votes against and no abstentions, the bill was read a third time and passed.
The House considered Senate amendments to the Virtual Assets and Virtual Assets Service Providers Bill, 2025. The amendments were approved.
The Member for Arima, Hon. Pennelope Beckles-Robinson, MP, raised a matter on the adjournment namely the need for the Ministry of Health to reinstate all required services at the Blanchisseuse and Brasso Seco health facilities. The Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Lackram Bodoe, MP, responded.
The House brought greetings to the nation on the upcoming celebration of Christmas.
