Correspondence was received from the President of the Senate on the concurrence of the Senate on the establishment of the Joint Select Committee to consider and report on the Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill, 2016 and the appointment of six Senators to the Joint Select Committee.

The Leader of the House, under Standing Order 82 (6), moved a motion that the House resolve to Standing Finance Committee to consider proposals for variation of appropriations for fiscal year 2016. Proposals for decreases from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries and the Ministry of Communications were considered. Proposals for increases from the Ministry of Public Administration and Communications and the Ministry of Social Development and Family Srvices were considered. The proposals for variations were considered and approved. The debate for the adoption of the Committee’s report will take place on Wednesday January 18, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.
Leader of the House, Hon. Camille Robinson-Regis moved a motion to approve the nomination of Mr. Martin Anthony George as a member of the Police Service Commission. The motion was approved.
