The Finance (Variation of Appropriation) (Financial Year 2021) Bill, 2022 was introduced in the name of the Minister of Finance, who moved that the next stage of the bill be taken later in the proceedings. The motion was approved.

The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, moved a motion that the House adopt the report of the Standing Finance Committee. Five members contributed to the debate. The motion was approved.

The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, moved the second reading of The Finance (Variation of Appropriation) (Financial Year 2021) Bill, 2022. The Member for Pointe-a-Pierre, Mr. David Lee, MP, was the sole contributor to the debate. The bill was read a third time and passed.

The Member for Chaguanas West, Ms. Vandana Mohit, MP, raised a matter on the need for the Government to properly explain to the population the process for reviewing the food support programme. The Minister of Planning and Development, Hon. Camille Robinson-Regis, MP, responded.
