The Standing Finance Committee met on Thursday October 6, 2022 to consider the estimates of expenditure for eight Heads of Expenditure:
- Ministry of National Security
- Trinidad and Tobago Police Service
- Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government
- Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries
- Ministry of Youth Development and National Service
- Personnel Department
- Service Commissions
- Environmental Commission
The Standing Finance Committee met on Friday October 7, 2022 to consider the estimates of expenditure for eight Heads of Expenditure:
- Tobago House of Assembly
- Central Administrative Services, Tobago
- Ministry of Public Utilities
- Ministry of Social Development and Family Services
- Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs
- Elections and Boundaries Commission
- Ministry of Sport and Community Development

The Standing Finance Committee met on Monday October 10, 2022 to consider the estimates for eight Heads of Expenditure:

The Standing Finance Committee met on Tuesday October 11, 2022 to consider the estimates for eight Heads of Expenditure:
- Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries
- Office of the Prime Minister
- Ministry of Education
- Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs
- Industrial Court
- Judiciary
- Equal Opportunity Tribunal
- Office of the Parliament
The bill was then reported to the House, following approval in Standing Finance Committee, without amendments. With 21 votes for, 19 votes against and no abstentions, the bill was read a third time and passed.

The Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Keith Rowley, MP, moved a motion to approve the Notification of the President of the nomination by the Police Service Commission of Mrs. Erla Harewood-Christopher to act as Commissioner of Police. Dr. Roodal Moonilal, MP for Oropouche East, was the sole responder. The Prime Minister then wound up the debate. The motion was approved.
The House brought greetings to the First Peoples, in commemoration of the Day of Recognition for the First Peoples of Trinidad and Tobago on October 14, 2022. The Sitting concluded at 8:13 p.m.
