One Report, the Report of the Standing Orders Committee of the Senate in the Fifth Session of the Tenth Republican Parliament, was presented in the name of the Leader of Government Business.
Three questions qualify for oral answer. All questions were deferred. See the Order Paper for details.
The Minister of Planning and Sustainable Development moved the second reading of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property (No.2) Bill, 2014. Sen. Faris Al-Rawi made a contribution and the Minister then rose to conclude. The Bill was then considered in Committee and passed without amendment. It was then read a third time and passed by a margin of 24 for, none against and no abstentions.
The Senate adjourned to a date to be fixed. Before adjourning, Sen. the Hon. Marlene Coudray, Sen. Camille Robinson-Regis, Sen. Dr. Victor Wheeler and the President of the Senate extended Christmas greetings the national community. The sitting ended at 3:41 p.m.
