Leave of absence was granted to Sen. the Hon. Robert Le Hunte, Sen. the Hon. Dennis Moses and Sen. Hazel Thompson-Ahye, who are out of the country and to Sen. Anita Haynes, who is ill. Mr. Ndale Young, Mr. Augustus Thomas, Mr. Josh Drayton and Mr. Sean Sobers were appointed temporary Senators in their place.
Temporary Senators Young, Thomas, Drayton and Sobers took the oath of allegiance.
The Attorney General lodged a petition on behalf of the Chief State Solicitor requesting the use of the Hansard in court proceedings. The petition was approved.

The Attorney General, Hon. Faris Al-Rawi, MP moved the second reading of The Administration of Justice (Indictable Proceedings) (Amendment) Bill, 2018. Debate began on the Bill. Following the debate, the Bill was taken to the Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The Bill was read a third time and passed, with amendments.
