Tributes were paid to Mr. Nazim Muradali, former MP for Naparima North, who passed away on Friday November 30, 2018. A moment of silence was observed.
The Magistrates Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2018 was brought from the Senate in the name of the Attorney General.

Dr. Tim Gopeesingh sought leave to move the adjournment of the House to discuss the matter of the alarming increase in serious abuse and violence toward children. The Speaker of the House was not satisfied that this matter qualified under Standing Order 17.
Dr. Gopeesingh sought leave to discuss another matter namely the reported deaths of 16 babies at NICU at San Fernando General Hospital. The Speaker of the House was not satisfied that this matter qualified under Standing Order 17.
The Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Keith Rowley, MP, made a statement regarding the CSME policy.
The Minister of Finance moved the second reading of The Finance Bill, 2018. Debate began on the Bill. The Bill was referred to the Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The Bill was read a third time and passed, with amendments.
