Leave of absence was granted to Mrs. Christine Newallo-Hosein, MP for Cumuto/Manzanilla and Dr. Fuad Khan, MP for Barataria/San Juan from today’s Sitting.

Hon. Colm Imbert, MP concluded his contribution to the Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill, 2016 debate and referred the Bill to a Committee of the Whole. Amendments having been made, the Minister of Finance requested that the House meet again on Friday January 6, 2017 to resume debate on this Bill.

Prior to the adjournment, the Leader of Government Business expressed the Government’s concern over the absence of the Opposition at Sittings where the Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill was debated.
