The President of the Senate granted leave of absence to Senator the Honourable Anand Ramlogan, SC and Senator the Honourable Fazal Karim. Mr. Larry Lalla and Ms. Ashaki Scott were temporarily appointed to replace Senators Ramlogan and Karim during their absence from Trinidad and Tobago.

The Minister of Planning and Sustainable Development moved the second reading of the Urban and Regional Planning Profession Bill, 2014. Sen. Faris Al-Rawi was the first to enter the debate, followed by Sen. Helen Drayton, Sen. Larry Lalla and Sen. Diane Baldeo-Chadeesingh.

At the next sitting debate is expected to continue on the Urban and Regional Planning Profession Bill, 2014 and begin on Motions to approve regulations pertaining to Children legislation. The sitting ended at 7 p.m.
