The Deputy Speaker, Dr. Aiyna Ali, MP, read a matter of privilege from the Member for Couva South on a statement released by the Opposition Leader on October 10th, which the Member for Couva South alleged, attempted to bring into disrepute the independent, democratic work of the Parliament by questioning the impartiality of the Presiding Officer.
