This Bill seeks to amend the Copyright Act, 1997 (Act No. 8 of 1997) to facilitate Trinidad and Tobago’s accession to the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Treaty and to the World Intellectual Property Organization Performances and Phonograms Treaty and to strengthen the enforcement provisions of the Act.
The Bill lapsed upon the dissolution of the 8th Parliament on 28 September 2007.
