An Act to amend the Bail Act, 1994

* The Bill seeks to amend the First Schedule of the Bail Act, 1994 to provide that certain offences under the Kidnapping Act would be non-bailable offences.
* The Bill requires a special (three-fifths) majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
* The Bill lapsed upon the prorogation of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament on 08 September 2005.
