Establish JSC to Consider Public Procurement, Disposal of Public Property and the Central Tenders Board Act

- 2nd Session - 10th Republican Parliament

BE IT RESOLVED that this House consider the Legislative Proposal to provide for public procurement and disposal of public property together with the Legislative Proposal to repeal and replace the Central Tenders Board Act which were laid in the House of Representatives on Friday June 25, 2010 along with the work of the previous Committee appointed in the First Session of the Tenth Parliament:

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Joint Select Committee be established to:

  1. examine the Legislative Proposals;
  2. consult with stakeholders and interested persons;
  3. send for papers, records and other documents;
  4. recommend amendments to the proposals with a view to improving the drafts;
  5. submit a report to Parliament within three (3) months from the date of appointment.
