Mrs. Norma Lewis-Phillip was the Member for Diego Martin East in the 1st Republican Parliament. She was subsequently appointed Minister of Housing. Mrs. Lewis also served as a Temporary Senator on several occasions. Mrs. Lewis passed away on Saturday March 8, 2008.
