Joint Select Committee on Finance and Legal Affairs
The Joint Select Committee on Finance and Legal Affairs is inviting comments as it pertains to its Inquiry into The State’s Strategy for Implementing Un-Proclaimed Legislation Passed by Parliament During the Last 20 Years (Part II) with specific focus on: The Dog Control Act 2013.
As part of its inquiry process, the Committee is inviting all stakeholders and interested persons to submit written comments/suggestions related to the following objectives of the inquiry:
- The factors that are contributing to the delay in the full implementation of The Dog Control Act 2013;
- The sections of the Act that can be implemented without delay;
- The sections of the Act that require more time and/or input for operationalization; and
- The impact that the delay in the full implementation of the Act has had on the safety and protection of citizens and the effective regulation of the dog/canine population.
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS APRIL 13, 2023.
