Call for Submissions – The State’s Strategy for Implementing Un-Proclaimed Legislation Passed by Parliament During the Last 20 Years (Part II) with specific focus on: The Dog Control Act 2013

The Joint Select Committee on Finance and Legal Affairs is inviting comments as it pertains to its Inquiry into The State’s Strategy for Implementing Un-Proclaimed Legislation Passed by Parliament During the Last 20 Years (Part II) with specific focus on: The Dog Control Act 2013.

As part of its inquiry process, the Committee is inviting all stakeholders and interested persons to submit written comments/suggestions related to the following objectives of the inquiry:

  1. The factors that are contributing to the delay in the full implementation of The Dog Control Act 2013;
  2. The sections of the Act that can be implemented without delay;
  3. The sections of the Act that require more time and/or input for operationalization; and
  4. The impact that the delay in the full implementation of the Act has had on the safety and protection of citizens and the effective regulation of the dog/canine population.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS APRIL 13, 2023.
