Government Business: Bills Second Reading
The International Child Abduction Bill, 2008

The Attorney General moved the Second Reading of the Bill, which was introduced in the name of the Minister of Social Development (Hon. Dr. Amery Browne) Dr. Browne made his first contribution on a Bill, Mr. Nizam Baksh made his first contribution in the 9th Parliament and. Hon. Alicia Hospedales, (Member for Arouca/Maloney) made her maiden contribution in the House of Representatives.
The Attorney General concluded the debate. The Bill was amended in Committee Stage, and later read a third time and passed with one amendment.
