Requests For Leave To Move The Adjournment Of The House On Definite Matters Of Urgent Public Importance
Dengue Fever Epidemic

The Member for Caroni East (Dr. Tim Gopeesingh, MP) sought leave of the House to move a matter pertaining to the instances of dengue fever. The Speaker ruled that the matter qualified, and leave was sought of the House. The House agreed. The Leader of the House moved that the Standing Orders pertaining to the time of debate be waived. The debate would be held at 4:30 p.m. and not at the usual 6:00 p.m.
