The Attorney General moved a Motion asking the House to agree with Senate amendments to the Integrity in Public Life (Amendment) Bill, 2009. The amendments were approved.
The Minister of State in the Ministry of National Security moved a Motion asking the House to consider Senate amendments to the Prison (Amendment) Rules, 2009. The Motion was approved.
The Minister of Legal Affairs made a personal explanation in which he clarified his statements during debate on the Property Tax Bill, 2009 and Valuation of Land (Amendment) Bill, 2009.
The Leader of the House indicated that the second Session of the 9th Parliament would be prorogued at midnight on Friday January 8, 2010 and that the third Session would commence with a Ceremonial Opening on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. The sitting ended at 3:37 p.m.
