The Speaker indicated that Ms. Donna Cox recused herself from the Committee of Privileges while it deliberates a Matter involving the Member for Diego Martin West. The Speaker also indicated the appointment of Mr. NiLeung Hypolite to replace Ms. Cox during its proceedings involving the Member for Diego Martin West only.

The Minister of National Security moved the second reading of the Anti-Terrorism Bill, 2011. The Member for Laventille East/Morvant was first to enter the debate followed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Member for Arouca/Maloney, the Minister of Works and Transport and the Member for Diego Martin North/East. The Minister of National Security then rose to conclude the debate. The Bill was considered in Committee and passed with amendments. It was then read a third time and passed.
The Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister moved a Motion asking the House to consider Senate amendments to the Data Protection Bill, 2011. The Motion was approved.
The Minister of National Security moved a Motion asking the House to consider Senate amendments to the Trafficking in Persons Bill, 2011. The Motion was approved.
Three Reports were presented, The Report of the Joint Select Committee – Public Procurement and Central Tenders Board, The Report of the Special Select Committee – The Way of Trinidad and Tobago (Incorporation) Bill, 2011 and the Report of the Special Select Committee – The Association of Real Estate Agents (Incorporation) Bill, 2011
The Minister of Education moved a Motion to adopt the Report of the Joint Select Committee appointed to consider and report to Parliament on the Legislative Proposals to provide for Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property and the Repeal and Replacement of the Central Tenders Board Act. The Leader of the Opposition was first to respond to the Motion, followed by the Member for Diego Martin North/East. The Minister rose to conclude. The Motion was then approved.
Before adjourning the Leader of the House, the Opposition Chief Whip and the Speaker of the House made brief interventions at what is likely the last sitting of the Session. The sitting adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
