The Member for Barataria/San Juan sought leave to move the following matter: “the refusal of the Children’s Life Fund Authority to assist children who are eligible for the said assistance under the Children Life Fund Act. The Member for Naparima also sought leave to move a matter, namely “the complete lapse of our national security apparatus and the complete revolt of some communities against our protective services.” The Speaker ruled in both instances that the matters did not qualify under this Standing Order.
The Attorney General moved that the House agree to Senate amendments to the Bail (Access to Bail)(Amendment) Bill, 2017.
