Private Business: Motions
Private Motion: Consultation with Cane Farmers on Drawdown of EU Funds

Debate began on a Private Motion by Sen. Dr. Jennifer Kernahan which asks the Government to keep the cane farmers informed on the progress being made with respect to the drawdown of grant funds from the European Union. The Minister of Finance was first to respond, followed by Sen. Corinne Baptiste McKnight and the maiden contribution of Sen. Seukeran Tambie. A total of five persons made contributions before debate was suspended.
