The Fifth Report of the Joint Select Committee established to inquire into and report to Parliament on Ministries (Group 2), and on the Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises falling under their purview on the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) was presented by the Member for Lopinot/Bon Air West.

The Sixth Report of the Joint Select Committee established to inquire into and report to Parliament on Ministries (Group 2), Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises falling under their purview on the East Port of Spain Development Company Limited (EPOSDC) was presented by the Member for Lopinot/Bon Air West.

The First Report of the Public Accounts (Enterprises) Committee on the Caribbean New Media Group (CNMG) Limited (Examination of the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2008) was presented by the Member for Diego Martin North/East.

The Hon Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC, MP [Siparia] [Prime Minister] made a statement in the House that the presentation of the 2012-2013 Budget will take place on Monday 1st October 2012.

Bill was introduced in the name of the Attorney General. The Leader of the House moved that the next stage of the Bill be taken later in the proceedings. Leave was granted.

The Attorney General moved the Second Reading of the Administration of Justice Bill (Indictable Proceedings) (Amendment) Bill, 2012. The Bill was considered in Committee and approved with amendments. The Bill was read a Third time and passed with 35 Members voting for the Bill. There were no Members voting against and there were no abstentions.

The House adjourned to Monday October 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at which time the 2012/2013 Budget Presentation would be made. The sitting adjourned at 11:27 p.m.
