One Paper was laid by the Minister of Public Utilities on behalf of the Minister of Finance. The Minister moved that it be referred to the Public Accounts (Enterprises) Committee. See the Order Paper for details.

Debate continued (from September 30, 2008) on the Appropriation Bill, 2009, with the Minister of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education and Member for Pointe-a-Pierre being first to contribute, followed by the Member for Tabaquite. Several Members entered the debate including the Prime Minister, during whose contribution the Standing Orders related to speaking time were suspended.

At its next sitting, debate is expected to continue on the Appropriation Bill, 2009. The House adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
