The Speaker granted leave of Absence to the Members for Siparia, Couva South, Tabaquite, Naparima from today’s sitting and Chaguanas West for the period 28th September to 20th October.

Seven papers were laid 1 in the name of the Minister of Planning, Housing and the Environment, 1 in the name of Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, 4 in the name of the Minister of Education and 1 in the name of the Minister of Finance who moved that this Report be referred to the Public Accounts [Enterprises] Committee.

The Minister of Finance rose to conclude her wind-up (From June 3, 2009) on the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago Bill, 2009. The bill was considered at the committee stage and passed with amendments. It was then read a third time and passed.
