The Report of the Special Select Committee of the House of Representatives appointed to consider and report on a Private Bill entitled, “An Act for the incorporation of the National Ramleela Council of Trinidad and Tobago and for matters incidental thereto” was presented by the Member for Fyzabad.

Two Questions qualified for Oral Answer of which both were deferred. See Order Paper for details.

Debate continued on a Private Motion moved by the Member for Laventille East/Morvant which asks the House to take note of the dismantling of national security systems and to call on the government to take steps to bring about a reduction in crime in Trinidad and Tobago. The Member for Tabaquite rose to initiate today’s debate with his contribution followed by contributions by the Leader of the Opposition and the Member for Chaguanas West. Debate was then suspended.
