The President granted Leave of Absence to Senator Michael Annisette. Senator Ms.Parvatee Anmolsingh-Mahabir was appointed to temporarily replace Senator Annisette.

Two papers were laid 1 in the name of the Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and 1 in the name of the Minister of Planning, Housing and the Environment.
