The Vice President granted leave of absence to Sen. the Hon. Timothy Hamel-Smith, Sen. Nicole Dyer-Griffith and Sen. Elton Prescott, SC. Mr. Arnold Ram, Archbishop Barbara Gray-Burke and Dr. Lennox Bernard were appointed to temporarily replace Sen. Hamel-Smith, Sen. Dyer-Griffith and Sen. Prescott respectively during their absence.

The Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons Bill, 2011 was considered in Committee and passed with amendment. The Bill was then read a third time and passed unanimously with a division of 24 for, 5 against with no abstentions.
