The Senate continued debate on the Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons Bill, 2011 where Senator the Honourable Fazal Karim rose to continue his contribution followed by contributions by Opposition Senator Fitzgerald Hinds, Independent Senator Elton Prescott, SC, Government Senator the Honourable Kevin Ramnarine, Opposition Senator Pennelope Beckles, Independent Senator Corinne Baptiste-McKnight and Government Senator the Honourable Anand Ramlogan, SC.
The Senate adjourns to Tuesday March 27, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. where the Senate intends to continue debate on a Motion by Sen. Fitzgerald Hinds which asks the Senate to take note of the strengths and deficiencies of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and its impact and potential in the fight against crime. The sitting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
