The Minister of National Security moved the Second Reading of the Interception of Communications Bill, 2010. Sen. Terrence Deyalsingh was first to enter the debate, followed by Sen. Basharat Ali and the Attorney General. Some 17 Senators made contributions before the Minister of National Security rose to conclude. The Bill was considered in Committee and passed with amendments. It was then read a third time and passed, with a division of 27 for, none against, no abstentions.
