Debate resumed on a Private Motion by the Member for Port-of-Spain North/St. Ann’s West which asks the Government to stop any proposed amendment to the rules that currently govern the GATE programme. The Minister of Education continued his contribution from the previous Private Members’ day, followed by the Member for Diego Martin North/East and the Minister of Public Administration. Debate on the Motion was then suspended.
At the next sitting, debate is expected on the Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill, 2012. The sitting ended at 4:00 p.m.
