Debate resumed on the Appropriation (Financial Year 2011) Bill, 2010. The Minister of Works and Transport resumed his contribution. He was followed by the Minister of Housing and the Environment and the Opposition Chief Whip. The Minister of Finance then rose to conclude. The House resolved into Finance Committee, at the conclusion of which the Bill was passed unanimously by a margin of 39 for, none against, no abstentions.
The Leader of the House moved that certain members be appointed to the PAC, the PAEC and the three Departmental Joint Select Committees. Leave was granted and the Members appointed to serve with a similar number of members in the Senate.
The House adjourned to a date to be fixed. The Leader of the House indicated that the Government would consult with the Opposition about the legislation to be considered. The House adjourned at 7:26 p.m.
