Mr. Vishnu Dhanpaul was appointed Minister of Finance on March 17, 2025.

Mr. Dhanpaul worked in several capacities in the public service, retiring as Permanent Secretary in The Ministry of Finance. Prior to his appointment as Minister of Finance, Mr. Dhanpaul was Trinidad and Tobago's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
