Mr. Trevor Sudama has had a long and distinguished Parliamentary career. He first entered Parliament in 1981 as the Member for Oropouche. He would serve in this capacity until 2001.

Mr. Sudama served in Government during the 3rd, 5th and 6th Republican Parliaments, and in Opposition during the 2nd and 4th Republican Parliaments.
