Mr. Roger Alexander was elected Member for Tunapuna in the 13th Republican Parliament and assigned the portfolio of Minister of Homeland Security.

He is a former Senior Superintendent in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, who was last assigned to the Anti-Extortion Unit.

He was the popular co-host of TTPS Beyond the Tape television programme on TV6.

Mr. Alexander led the fight against drug-trafficking gangs in Port of Spain, and was featured in a 2014 Vice News documentary on “Corruption, Cocaine and Murder in Trinidad.”
