
Senator Mustapha Abdul-Hamid
Mr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid was first elected to the House of Representatives on November 5, 2007, as the Member of Parliament for the newly created Chaguanas East constituency.
Previously, Mr. Abdul-Hamid served as a Senator between 2001 and 2007, where he held a number of Ministerial portfolios including Minister of Social Development and Minister of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education.
On November 16, 2007 he was appointed Minister of Public Utilities.
Mr. Abdul-Hamid would again serve as a Temporary Opposition Senator in the 13th Republican Parliament.
