
Senator Melanie Roberts-Radgman
Mrs. Melanie Roberts-Radgman was appointed Opposition Senator at the start of the 13th Republican Parliament on May 23, 2025.
Mrs. Roberts-Radgman is an attorney at law licensed to practice in the State of New York as well as the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Political Science from Adelphi University, a Juris Doctor (JD) in Law from Harvard University, and a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from Hugh Wooding Law School.
Throughout the course of her development as an attorney-at-law, Mrs. Roberts-Radgman gained experience in areas such as policy making, advocacy and lobbying; industrial relations and human resource management; and other areas of civil law. Mrs. Roberts-Radgman has worked on Capitol Hill as well as with local and international entities such as British Petroleum (bpTT).
Born and raised in Tobago, Mrs. Roberts-Radgman hopes to use her training and expertise to aid developing businesses on the island, reform and rehabilitate marginalized and at-risk youth, and alleviate the occurrence of land and title issues plaguing Tobagonians.
