Mrs. Glenda Jennings-Smith
Ms. Glenda Jennings-Smith first entered Parliament as the representative for Toco/Sangre Grande following the General Election of September 7, 2015. She was appointed Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of National Security in the 11th Parliament.
Glenda Jennings-Smith MP, is a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police with 34 years experience. She has been qualified in Mediation, Criminology and Management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago as well as an Associate Degree in Police Management and Applied Criminology from Cambridge University, Cambridge England. She has also received specialised training in the areas of Strategic Crime Control, Forensic Approach to Mass Disaster and other law enforcement related training.
