Mr. Errol Mc Leod served as the Member of Parliament for Oropouche during the 1st Republican Parliament (1976-1981). He was again elected Member of Parliament on Monday May 24, 2010, this time as the Member for Pointe-a-Pierre in the 10th Republican Parliament, and was appointed Minister of Labour, Small and Micro Enterprise Development on May 28, 2010.
