Dr. Vincent Lasse represented the constituency of Point Fortin during the 4th and 5th Republican Parliaments (1991-1995 and 1995-2000). Dr. Lasse would serve in Opposition and cross the floor to assume a Ministerial role in the 5th Republican Parliament.

Dr. Lasse would also be appointed a Government Senator during the 6th Republican Parliament (2001).
