
Senator Dr. Margaret Rose
Dr. Margaret Satya Rose was first appointed as an Opposition Senator at the start of the 2nd Session of the 13th Republican Parliament.
Dr. Rose is a distinguished public procurement lawyer with a career spanning over three decades. She has been practicing throughout the Commonwealth Caribbean since 1995 and specializes in public procurement law, anti-corruption, and governance. Her academic credentials include an LLB (Hons), an LLM in Corporate Commercial Law from the University of the West Indies, and a Doctorate in Policy Research from the Institute for Policy Research, University of Bath, United Kingdom.
Dr. Rose is also a former Executive Director of the Caribbean Procurement Institute and a co-founder of Procurement Compliance Plus (PC+). Her work focuses on bridging the values-actions gap in public procurement systems and has been instrumental in designing and delivering values-based procurement education and compliance frameworks.
