Mrs. Cindy Gibbs-Nicholas served on one occasion during the 8th Parliament as a Temporary Senator (Opposition). She took part in one debate, making a plea for workers in Private Members' Clubs.

In 2015, she would serve again as a Temporary Government Senator, as Mrs. Cindy Gibbs-Mohammed, making another contribution in support of Private Members' Club workers.
