Mr. Ashton Ford has had a varied political career, serving as Mayor for Arima, and as the Parliamentary representative for Arima in the 2nd Republican Parliament. Mr. Ford was appointed Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Works, Infrastructure and Drainage, working with then Minister Hugh Francis.
