Mr. Anthony Isidore Smart was elected to the House of Representatives in 1986 as the representative for Diego Martin East. An Attorney-at-Law by profession, Mr. Smart served as Deputy Speaker and as Minister in the Ministry of Legal Affairs and in the Office of the Prime Minister before being appointed Attorney General in the National Alliance for Reconstruction (NAR) Administration of 1986 to 1991.
