Mr. A.K. Sabga Aboud served as a Government Senator during the 1st Independent Parliament (1961-1966). Prior to entering Parliament, he was a member of the Port-of-Spain Corporation, serving as Deputy Mayor.

Mr. Sabga-Aboud also served as an Ambassador to the Middle East following his Parliamentary life.

Mr. Sabga-Aboud was an attorney-at-law.
