The 21st National Youth Parliament took place on Monday November 25, 2024. Over forty (40) young persons from schools and youth organizations across Trinidad and Tobago came together to discuss the topic of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom.ย
The debate took place in the Parliament Chamber and lasted around four and a half hours and was judged by Sen. Jayanti Lutchmedial-Ramdial (Opposition Senator), Mr. Roger Monroe, MP, Representative for Toco/Sangre Grande and Ms. Joanna Kazana, UN Resident Coordinator for Trinidad and Tobago.
Prizes were awarded to the top debaters and to the People’s Choice debater.
